Freagle is a hospitality service.
It's made especially for outdoor fans, hikers, trekkers, bikers and all nature loving people.

No meticulouse planing is needed and no stopovers in internet cafés. Just print out detailed maps of the campsites you might want to visit on your trip and there you go!

 

 

This is an amazing new opportunity to travel the world, free like an eagle!

Freagle.org is a wordwide network similar to Couchsurfing. It gives you the amazing opportunity to travel across the world and many different countries totally carefree, secure and most importantly: very inexpensively.

How? Just with your tent, your backpack and the help of other Freagle members.

You've got the chance to camp at every Freagle members location. You will be able to get fresh water and possibly other useful things for your journey.

Of course there are a few rules: If you want to stay any longer than one night, you might need to ask your host. If you are traveling with more than 4 people, you need to notify your host of your arrival and ask whether it's ok or not.

There are many campsites you are able to arrive at spontaneously. If you want to make sure that the campsite is available and someone is at home and it's not overcrowded, you might want to contact the host first using Freagle.org.

It's needless to say, that nobody should be refused for no reason. As long as you stick to the rules, you can count on other members hospitality and you will be given a place for your tent.

Hospitality is based on the principle of mutuality. A traveler wants to receive kindness and wants to feel safe and welcome. It starts with very common things. There is nothing worse than feeling uninvited or even unloved. If you have had the pleasure of experiencing other nations' kindness and hospitality once, you might want to give something back.

That is exactly what Freagle wants to encourage. We would love to develope a wordwide network of Freagle members helping each other and being hospitable to each other.

The membership is totally free and is only based on mutual help and hospitality.
